"I've Got You Under My QT Skin"

We are proud to present you the same old "Hooha Flyby" in a new guise: Luepp's Custom QuickTime Player. Please enjoy this option, because it was quite a hassle to get it right!

Old Feathered Friends

I have also found other flash projects from the same period which show a keen interest in ornithology. The first project features a magpie. Click on the base of the spine of the letter 'k' and you'll trigger a song. The second project shows the same bird in the company of some of his feathered friends, i.e. a goldfinch and an oriole. Click on, again, the irritably tiny hotspot and find the magpie's mystery guest. I am sorry if you feel that these projects are silly, but they were a great source of entertainment to the little one at the time. The third project is "the odd bird out", however, for it is a preliminary design for an interface to a woodpecker project that never took off.

Oldsflash: Come Again?

I made this flashy character in 2001. I forgot what he was saying.

The "Happy 2005" FlyBy

Click here to see the e-card movie. It was made with Cinema 4D and After Effects.
The design of the aeroplane is based on the Fokker D21. My dad has been a proud Fokker-man his entire working life (though it is unlikely that he has ever seen a D21; the F27 would have been more appropriate). I'm happy to add that he is still very much alive and doing quite well. Gelukkig nieuwjaar, pa!
And to continue with another "in-crowd" remark: the voice of the hysterical pilot is John's - a great actor if you ask me. Or if you ask him, for he is recorded to have cheered "what an actor, eh?" ("wat een acteur, he") as a confident appreciation of his own performance during the Firenze "Camping Laundries" shoot of the late 1980s. It would in fact be interesting to some day compare his performance to that of Antoon Baede in the El Masnou "Camping Laundries" remake of the mid-ninetees. We'll let the public decide.
